ENGOT > ENGOT Statement of Support for Ukraine ENGOT Statement of Support for Ukraine With the ongoing war in Ukraine, ENGOT hereby suspends the membership of all Russian and Belarusian study groups (e.g. RUSSCO), organisations and trial sites. In addition, ENGOT will not support any clinical trials involving Russian and Belarusian sites. We, therefore, urge all pharmaceutical companies not to open any new sites and suspend accrual in these two countries. This is a very difficult decision in a difficult time. None of us could have imagined that a war could emerge in Europe again. Nevertheless, all members of ENGOT Strategic Group feel that we cannot close our eyes to the great tragedy caused by the Russian invasion of another European country, which will have an immediate tragic impact on the invaded country, but also a long-term impact on Europe and the whole World. Our utmost hope is that peace will be established again soon, which will allow us to return to our fruitful collaborations for the benefit of all patients.
